Toronto’s Superstars MC Kid Kut and DJ Jester of flow 103.5 kickin’ it old school at the back of NTM Studios. We shot music promo and press kit photography for their summer events. For something a little different we went back to a retro vibe with a Beastie Boys kind of fisheye style shot and a more street, rough vibe for the grungy alleyway, reminds me of my days in Brooklyn.
The vertical shot was done with a Tilt Shift Portrait lens, it allows for in camera focus shifting creating interesting effects, pretty rare and very expensive. Definitely worth it for the unique look though.
